For many years - all 19 of them, in fact - Oceanwood has closed for several months over the winter.

This year we have decided to stay open for nearly all of it to offer you a cozy spot for a romantic break from the hustle and bustle of the city or the chores and routine of everyday.  We all need one.

And you know you deserve it...a cozy fire, a tub for two, music, movies, books, quiet walks in the country.  Time to talk to each other about the things that matter.  Time to catch your breath.  Time to remind yourself of why you fell in love in the first place.

The off season room rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon tea.  Our dining room will not be open for dinner but we have made sure that other tasty alternatives will be.

The exception to our winter opening will be the period right around Christmas and New Year.
